“Faithful men have always been a blessing, not only to the church through the
centuries, but to their families, friends, employers, and those that admire that
faithfulness from a distance. The quality of faithfulness involves more than
just the consistent attendance at regular events for church and family.
Faithfulness has its root meaning in the Greek word for faith. The obvious
implication of this faith clearly reveals itself in loyalty, diligence,
spiritual insight, personal motivation and love, and the great qualities of
meekness and wisdom. I have set about to examine my life, to see if it follows
this powerful pattern for living. I realize that we must evaluate our lives
regularly and determine the changes which will lead to faithful living. Let us
strive in this task with all diligence, being perceptive to the needs of those
who follow after us. Let us also set the example for our children,
grandchildren, and other men.” DEM
